Nixon Library Yorba Linda, CA ALPHA, 4-inch thick, welded steel panels utilizing 14 gauge face sheets and frame members. Panels are nominally 7 ft wide and equipped with lever operated, retractable bottom seals designed to mate with low profile floor track. Special track work and closure panel allows operable wall to seal acoustically with adjacent room walls without unsightly closure panel or expandable jamb element. Millwork field applied by others. One set of pass doors is active while the others are not. Track is AEC #8 SUPERTRACK, composite of steel bar surfaces with extruded aluminum case. |

Mauna Lani Resort, Hawaii Tube steel and glass operable walls protect this pavillion during inclement weather. The walls have inset pass doors equipped with panic hardware and self illuminating Exit Signs. Corrosion resistant "Tnemec" finish on welded steel frame members insures long life. |
